FMTTM prison for a crime I did not commit?
In the context of the thread, ie the rumours becoming more ridiculous and Soap Opera like, sharing a tweet about Steve Gibson taking phone calls in the middle of the night whilst in Germany on business about players and staff getting it on behind his back.. it seemed quite apt, although it clearly upset a few of our posters and I myself read it back and thought it was slightly unfair on the staff member to be the butt of a silly joke that wasn’t actually funny. So I deleted it, but still ended up in prison? Maybe I should stick to more established news sources in future..

The entire sum of players he brought in went for more than we paid. Including Traore etc

Espinosa came in on a free, injured at the time, got fit and left for 3 or 4 million. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what Victor Orta was tasked with tbh and the same with Kieran Scott..

Surely you can't be that oblivious to the consequences of posting rumours about a players personal life? Yes it's unfair to the staff member you mention, what about the player and his wife, kids etc? There can be very unpleasant real word effects of posting those type of rumours.
 
Perhaps this thread could be pinned. Having a Wilder Rumours thread pinned at the top would be so apt, no need to change the title when he does eventually leave, as all managers do, just leave it as Wilder Rumours and as soon as the next manager is appointed everyone will be able to jump straight in with the rumours about him leaving.

It would be interesting to watch as the years pass by just how stupid people can be.

What I have learnt in life is no matter how stupid someone or something seems, someone or something always comes along to take it to the next level of stupid!(and to be fair it is usually me taking stupid to the next level)😁

When I posted the ridiculous and clearly made up conversation/screenshot from twitter (available to be seen by anybody btw) it fit in with the narrative of the thread. As sad as it might be, many footballers with have many negative things sad about them on social media and message boards. Some of it clearly made up and sometimes genuinely hateful, my conscience is pretty clear on this this one tbh especially given that I deleted the link/attachment.
 
Cant wait for press conference 2moro chris will probably be smiling having a deal done to move on so wont mind about the weekend game.
