I think the fact he was sacked in the manner he was with no replacement lined up suggests it was a sacking not a removal.

clearly some legal clauses to prevent any talking about it. I would suspect he's technically on gardening leave until he finds a new job to save us paying him 18 months wages.

I don't agree at all re IS.
He will have a bruised ego, but will keep schtum to take the money.
I'd suggest he will be back in the game within a year when the financial equation works and will have his say on his version of what has happened.

I was told by two good sources that this was the case.. one also told me we'd been talking to Gareth Southgate regarding the new manager.. I laughed that one off.. but obviously got the wrong end of the stick!
