Wilder is a genius - that’s how you win a game

I didn't think it was possible to love him any more than I already did but after today....

I remember earlier in the season him saying in an interview that he'll always try to win the game and today is evidence of that.

Much as I liked Karanka, one of my frustrations with him was that he never took risks when we were behind. Who can forget Southampton away when he left it until the last 10 minutes to change it and made a like for like change.

Wilder went for it footy manager style today and as the old saying goes, fortune favours the brave.

And it is games like this Warnock would have been happy with a draw and played to keep it, thinking it was a good result to come back and get something out of the game. We now have a manager who can change his original plan, and has a totally different mentality to football and winning and it's rubbing off on everyone, the belief, momentum and expectations are growing.

We said the same

Yep. Remember Reading at home last season? 0-0 and they were very much there for the taking but we almost seemed to be playing for the draw because of their league position. I remember some fans saying it was a good result at the time.

Don’t forget how good the management team are, if we have a dodgy spell in the premier league

What is it with Reading and injury time winning goals!?

I'm trying not to get carried away but Boro are building something special this season. Some big games coming up.
