Yep, I go to games and sports events I have little interest in when invited by clients or suppliers, just because well why not.

I went to the opening game of the rugby league World Cup at Newcastle despite having never seen a rugby league game before. I’ve been to plenty of Newcastle, Sunderland, Liverpool and Man Utd home games when Boro weren’t involved just because I was offered to go.

I was at the Scotland 2-3 Germany game because I was nearby for work and was offered a ticket. I’ve done a few England friendlies for the same reason.

I’ve gone to countless boxing events where the card was of little interest and I wouldn’t have paid to go but when offered for free it lowers expectations and you think why not.
 
It’s the complete lack of self awareness that gets me. He knows this is all over the news at the moment. It shows a real arrogance not to just keep away from things like this until the dust settles at least.

No it doesn’t, it just winds you and others up because you don’t like him and you have an agenda.
