Why did they settle for 1-1?

Barnsley, Reading and Bournemouth are all winning as it stands, we'd still have been 7 points off the play-offs even if we'd went gung-ho for the win against the best defence in the league, a defence we never tested from open play in over 100 minutes of football, even when we were losing.

The more likely outcome would have been that we were done on the break, as we have been so often this season, and lost a third game a row, with people then demanding to know why we were so open at the back after deservedly equalising and the pressure and negativity would mount further on the squad.
Well that shows why we should have gone for it. No wonder we didn't test them when we didn't try.

You lake a good point, but I think NW is manager enough to say ‘look lads I know we threw a point away, but we had to go for it’ and still pick them up for the next game.

Warnock wanted the point and I don't blame him whatsoever for it.

We played very poorly going forwards today, so he'd have been slaughtered if we'd lost.

TBF it seems to happen every week, even when we are 1-0 down, I rarely see them going for the equaliser. The use of the hoof ball or passing back to the goalie with minutes to spare boils my pish.

We did try, we just had ineffective attackers on the pitch.
Never going to score with Spence as one of the main attackers.

Then we snatch a goal from a set piece.

We didn't try. We tried to spend the last 10 minutes with the ball in the hands of the keeper or a thrower in.

You can't score with the ball off the field. Dreadful tactics

I'm not on about the last 10 minutes.
I'm on about the entire match, even when we were chasing the game.

Our only shot on target was Bolasie's header from a set piece.

Have we turned on NW now, he as the messiah not long back.
The football has been dross in most games this season and utter dross in half a dozen games. That's acceptable when you win or at least try to win. Last season and the early part of the season he went for wins from drawing positions; today was negative from beginning to end, getting more negative close to the end, when we had nothing to lose and perhaps something to gain.

Barnsley 2-0
Reading 2-0
Bournemouth 2-0 (with a game in hand)

Our result wouldn't have mattered and we've gained a score draw against the form team and best defence in the league.
Correct decision.

Who's to say if we had scored a winner that those results would still have gone the way they have?

Flip flops have been dusted off and that`s that for this season.

Not exactly enticing stuff is it to go back to at the moment in my opinion.

I've not seen much evidence of him being a winger this season but he looks a decent striker in the box.

Everyone one of his goals has come from him drifting in from the wing, bar a tap in against Millwall.

He should be starting every game, but he should be starting it on the wing or in support of an actual striker.

{ personally feel that If we had not got that free kick we would have still not made many efforts to get an equaliser.
