Exactly. Mcgree was poor first half ,but just as he was getting going, it coincided with us as a team taking control. Things go through him. When he plays well we do.

Just as he and the team were starting too and the passing was starting to be coherent, he takes him off and we lose all that control and impetus. Almost immediately!!

Literally stopped our own momentum with that sub.

No he wasn't he'd grown into the game steadily after a crap first half and was part of the reason we were finally making them look as bad as they are.

Then he comes off the pitch it's absolutely mental. Like it was in the notebook to take him off at that time and so.. he did.
 
McGree wasn’t at his best tonight but he is in another league to Silvera who can’t seem to do no wrong in Carricks eyes
 
To be fair Greenwood was just as bad, when he came on, but McGree looked slow, had his normal poor 1st touch, and often turned into trouble.
Improved slightly, but that's not saying much, he lost the ball several times tonight.

But wow our new lads are scary, Engel, Greenwood, Silvera , Rogers none of them are Championship level.
 
Mcgree will obviously play better with the better players we have.
He is struggling with the sub standard players who started tonight
 
I don't agree with taking McGree off but I don't think that's entirely why the game changed. It changed because they strengthened their left side defensively to cope with Jones, everything we were doing well at that point went down our right side.
 
Bizarre taking McGree off but there were so many things wrong tonight. How on earth Silvera gets in before McGree or Jones is ridiculous. All of our signings are awful. Must be the worst transfer window for us ever.
