Who would you replace Warnock with?

A young swashbuckling ex boro player promising total football whilst also being a bit handy with PowerPoint.
Seriously if he goes who are we looking at?

Roy Keane, Alex Neil, Eddie Howe?

Steve Round has a has a lot of experience would he be worth a shot.
We have a mid table budget and a mid table squad, I doubt any other manager would do much better 😔

Today's Blackpool manager Neil Critchley was plucked from Liverpool's coaching staff. Both Jack Charlton & Bryan Robson were novices (yes so was Woodgate 🙈) However my left field choice at end of season would be Michael Carrick. Cultured midfielder, brought through West Ham academy and their passing football, north-east link and upcoming highly rated coach now 1st team coach at Man Utd... who knows 🤷‍♂️

I think it'd be someone not many of us have heard of from another country, say a 5 years ago Thomas Tuchel type of coach. I'm pretty certain part of Kieron Scott's mandate will be to find Warnock's successor, which is why the timing of that will be for the end of the season, so absolute zero chance of a new manager before then unless Warnock walks.

Me personally I would like another Karanka type manager next, someone a bit off the radar but who has coached at the highest levels and is ready to make the step up as a manager. I think the next 'manager' will be head coach rather than an actual manager now we have the new bloke in place. Which would suit a foreign manager better than it would most English managers as it seems the vast majority of other countries have been using this system a lot longer than over here.
So here is my answer to the original question. A reserve manager or assistant from A South American club or national side with Leo P as assistant. With the South American players linked over the summer, Leo and Juninho influence and contacts, its not that unthinkable or impossible(the South American manager is more my football manager game addiction talking lol).

In all honesty, me. I would cost fraction of any recognised candidate. I wouldn’t bring in an army of back room staff, but would find a role for my dad, just to see him in a track suit on match day. It would amuse me.

Also I wouldn’t demand a pay off to leave, id know when to go.

if we’ve to lose at home against a newly promoted team, we’d have a few more shots on target

oh, and after every home game the players have to pick up their wages from the centre circle ( me included).
You could then tell us what you thought of us

Eddie Howe if he would come North. Bournemouth played excellent football under him.
He's a football manager who has already managed at Burnley, and it would be bloody career limiting to refuse to manage anyone north of London. We would be comfortably the biggest club he had ever managed if he came to us. The kind of manager that could get the most out of quality like Payero, Sporar and Hernandez

Steven Gerrard.

Served his apprenticeship in the Scottish League and would surely walk over broken glass to get a decent job in England. Would also have the legend status that Bryan Robson had that would help attract decent signings.

Yeah I could definitely see him leaving managing a side in Europe for a side just above the regelation zone in the second tier.

But really, all jokes aside, I don’t think we’re anywhere near the appealing club we used to be for managers.

Gerard or lampard would be decent , can’t see Gerard leaving during a season though . Howe would seem the more logical guess right now although I doubt Gibson would do anything until next month if at all . Hel allow Warnock to give it a go with his own set a players unless we continue to lose matches consecutively
