I was a Liverpool fan initially as a kid so probably John Barnes. I also really liked Ronnie Whelan. And then as I became a Boro fan definitely Ripley.

Summer 1986 when I needed a hero boro ended up padlocking Ayresome. So went with a namesake at Liverpool. Ian Rush, then they sold him .
