My point is that he should be playing centre back. I’ve only seen a limited amount of him but I’d like to see him in his natural position. If we’re developing younger players then surely he would be better being allowed to settle into the side where he’s most comfortable.

Gitau, Whelan, Agyemang, Sykes are all professionals who are RB or can play there. Gitau was on the bench last season but seems to have disappeared a bit, he may be injured.

Sykes is 21, Gitau and Agyemang are 20, Whelan 19.
