Who is the most famous person you have bumped into?

Remember when I was about 14, bowling at Geoff Boycott at Scarborough. He was practicing before the game and gave a few kids a chance to bowl at him. When one of the adults got hold of the ball, told him off. It’s only for the kids.
Many years later stood at a bar in a hotel
in Kuala Lumpar next to Sam Allerdyce, he asked where were we from, the look on his face when he said from the Boro 😂

Had a wee next to Marc Riley at the Didsbury Cineworld

Manny - Stone Roses - Heaton Moor Tesco

Sally Lindsay/Dan Ryan - The Crown pub, Heaton Mersey

Stuart Pearce, Cruise Flannels Newcastle. Held the door open and he said thank you.

Robin Smith / Bruce Grobellaar , Centurion, cricket South Africa

Andy Hinchcliffe almost took me out carrying a TV out of John Lewis (he had paid for it btw ....)

Phil Mealey - Duffy, Early Doors - our house.

Shay Given - local pub back home

Ex-Pogue Shane McGowan was at my record shop and pulled out a LP of a Janis Joplin 'Pearl'. He was a hero of mine so I just had to say something. The LP doesn't have her name on the cover so I politely told him who it was by. He was pished (of course) and snarled 'I know!', bought the LP and off he went.

Grinning ginger nut Chris Evans also stopped by once. He quickly bought a few things before running off because another customer shouted 'Big Breakfast! Big Breakfast!' at him over and over again, as you do when you're a starstruck fan of low intelligence.

I waited at the luggage carousel in Singapore airport alongside Gordon Ramsay.

And saw the back of the Queen's head as she made her way by car down Yarm High Street.
