Who do you fancy for the USA masters

Not so sure Cooper, yes they will speed up but due to the time of year I can’t see them being ridiculousply fast like they normally are. In fact, due to the slowness of the greens, I really enjoyed watching the Masters yesterday, some great shots from some fantastic players.
Don't forget they have that noisy air drying system for the greens, so can be slick as they want them.
I fancy Westwood as highest Brit, he has bit of form.. Dustin J or Thomas to win.

I am looking forward to the next few days, particularly as my two e/w bets are in with a shout so I have skin in the game as they say!! The Dustin and the Justin both look good though

Pretty happy with my bets, so far with Thomas, Matuyama, Reed, Casey, Koepka, Fowler and Simpson all within 5 of the lead. 2 of those finish top 5 and I should break even. If I can find the winner then quids in.

johnson and Rahm look favourites though so far.

Johnson 4 under after 4 holes. Astonishing start, Ancer and Munoz doing well.

Having said that he’s gone into the bunker off the tee on the 4th.

Dustin Johnson suddenly miles head. British challenge is just withering away. Nearest British Player 8 shots back now.

Cashed out end of yesterday for a £20 profit. Now just enjoying watching the skills of the players 🙌

Has been interesting listening to Butch Harmon. He said that, with the toughest pin positions, he could put a 14 handicapper in the centre of every green in regulation, and bet all of them would finish with a score of >100.
I’m lucky to hit 10 greens in regulation and that’s playing off 5, which would give me 7 or 8 shots round Augusta.

I don‘t play enough to improve, never shifted off 28 on old rules. Only played twice this year for various reasons, think last year was 2/3 times.

Toying with getting lessons and a new set of irons, had my set for 15 years and think getting properly fitted would help massively provided I play more frequently.

Alan Hansen went round Augusta in 80, then 77 not having seen the course before (except on tv obviously). He's a good player, but those Sky pundits love their hyperbole. Butch Harmon's comment is pretty stupid when you think about it. On all 18 greens in regulation is 36 shots, so he's saying a 14 handicapper would take more than 64 putts. That's 4 putting 9 greens and 3 putting the other 9.

The 14 handicappers Butch Harmon knows can't be very good.

Incidentally, if you want to try putting on really tough greens, try the Himalayas at St Andrews. It's about £2 to play, and it is fantastic fun. The par is 54, and you have to be very good to do that. And the course is different every day, so a new challenge every time.
