White lines

Just finished this on netflix.

Top tv
I enjoyed it. Part of the first episode was shot around 40 minutes drive from where I live. In the tacky spaghetti western theme park. There are some more series theme parks there as well as that one. In the only desert region in mainland Europe.

Just finished this myself last night. Enjoyed it, looks like a second series is being prepared.

I've watched 5 episodes so far and I'm quite enjoying it.

I'm not a binge watcher so tend to watch an episode every other night.

Does anyone think Kika's mam bears a striking resemblance to Alan Partridge? 🤣

I take it from that its not worth a visit? We´ve thought about it a few times. And there are two aren´t there - are neither worth a visit?

Watched the first episode and thought the set up was too preposterous. A body is found in the desert, OK I'm with you, the sister of the victim is, for some reason I forget, in the place where he was found (getting a little far-fetched), sister wanders up to cordoned off area and police dump the uncovered body in front of her (EH?) then she is allowed to enter the area and identify the body from a distinctive chest tat (oh do fukk off!) watched the rest of it and it just got sillier. Couldn't be bothered to try ep2.

Not watched it but watched similar episodes, soon as they get to the point when you think, no this cant happen, then no matter where I am in the series, how how many episodes to complete I've lost interest

I know what you mean, but it is entertainment not a factual documentary 😁

The series I'm referring to wasn't a documentary, it was based around a women's husband who was presumed killed in a plane crash on one of his working tours in the middle East, probably similar to white lines, she was convinced he was still alive & went over to try & find him, she was eventually proved right but the doors that opened for her getting to the final conclusion were daft in itself, she was in a foreign country & Kew the layout & who to contract, even playing a role as detective,

"The Widow" with Kate Beckinsale possibly? I've not seen it myself, but a friend recommended it the other day.
