With wilder in charge now after all of Neil's efforts and misfortune, where do you think we can finish?

5th for me

Would be genuinely surprised if we finish as high as fifth, like :ROFLMAO:

Though there are still the points to play for being what is it, four points from sixth place?? There's work to do with Wilder getting his own players in throughout January and next Summer .. just think this season we're more likely to end up 7th-12th as I voted on your poll.

If we finish any higher than 7th I'll eat my words .. if Wilder performs a miracle and wins us the play-offs this season he will become a God around the Boro :ROFLMAO:

I’ll say top 2.
Been to every game this season and we’ve dropped points because of warnocks decisions and style football. It was clear that we were losing midfield and it took him 6 weeks to drop crooks further back. Paying tav to far back. Dropping Jones and uche when they had been playing well.
I think we’ll get some good results between now and January then make a few signings, maybe loans, and then really kick on.
The louder you scream the faster we go.

I think we are too far off the top 3, and they are playing pretty well. It's a tough ask to finish top 2 and will, reasonably, be beyond us. Had we had Wilderr at the begining of the season, I would agree with you, West Brom are no great shakes, just a wee bit better than most in the division.

Strong prediction that mate

we need a run, we need abit of luck with transfers and our squad, we need wilder to hit the ground running which I think he will do.
Without mitro’s goals I don’t think fulham are anything special. They’ll have a stutter and give us chance to close the gap and I favour the team chasing.

dream big UTB

I think there's a chance of the play-offs but probably depends how long it takes the squad to get to grips with the new tactics and possibly get fitness levels to the required standard.

Think he's had slow starts at previous clubs before everything clicked and if that happens here we might be too far adrift. That said it's a very tight league, so even a slow start might not be too damaging if we end up on a good run.

3rd spot - hoping my judgement is out by one place.
The next 4 games are against sides that are just above us so a win in each of those ties will guarantee us one place lift in the league.

I forecast that we will be in a playoff positions by Christmas.

All on the basis that Wilder knows what he is doing with a squad that is well capable imo.

For a bit of perspective, I reckon we would need to average about 1.8 points pg for play-offs. Achieveble with this group of players?

We have the right manager for sure. But we already had the right manager. So it depends if above treat this guy like the did Warnock regarding recruitment. Time will tell.

I think the top two are spoken for and bottom place seems to be reserved for the Rams, so I think we will finish anywhere between those🤪. I honestly don't have a clue now, I hope the new gaff does what he's been bought into do, which is push to go up one way or another- however SU fans seem divided on him, which seems ungrateful after all he did but then you just have to remember Aitor and he had the same effect on us, he came in did the business but had something about him which polarized fans and it seems Wilder may be similar, I hope he is just as good at getting results.

I think we will improve and stay in the play off hunt until the last couple of weeks but unfortunately come up a couple of points short. 8th position with 69 points.
