I once thought that too......then brexit happened and I realised just how daft and emotionally malleable most people are.
And this will continue until Johnson's ridiculous mandate is removed.
We haven't been in lockdown for a long time, can't see us going back into it unless there's a big change in the way things are at present with regards to hospitalisations and deaths.

We haven’t been in full lockdown for a year! This past week I’ve travelled the length of the country, stayed in a hotel, had an eye test, been to a pub,been shopping and today I’m going to a rugby match. Yes there are restrictions and face masks and booking of pubs and restaurants it there is no lockdown
I completely agree with your sentiment BoroFur, but I think ‘privileges’ is a very odd word to use in this context.
What difference does it make what you call it, it is what it is at the moment, some inconveniences in place but no lockdown.
