What Would a Decent Promotion Run Look Like?

THE REST OF THE FIRST HALF OF THIS SEASON

7 Wins - Tony Pulis 'Smash the League Territory' (5th)
9 Wins - Aitor Karanka 'Automatic Promotion Territory' (2nd)

We need at least 5/6 points from the next three games imo

23 points..

Tue 23 Preston North End H - 16th - WIN
Sat 27 Huddersfield Town A - 7th - WIN 29 Points under Warnock I had us on 30 points after Huddersfield and 33 after after Bournemouth
----------------------------------------------------------
Sat 4 Swansea City H - 12th - WIN
Sat 11 Stoke City A - 4th - LOSS
Sat 18 AFC Bournemouth H - 2nd - DRAW 33 points tough challenge, hopefully we see more of Bola and Dijksteel

WWWWW - five wins has us on 36 points
WWWDL - three wins a draw and a loss has us on 33 points

33/36 points

We're gonna need one hell of a January transfer window!!

I mean.. it's no graph by chickenrunner

82 points? I think it looks realistic.. maybe I've over egged the pudding 4th/5th place starting to look like more 3rd place. I can see us beating anyone in this league now. Our new players have yet to settle in averaging 2ppg since Wilder and having just knocked Man Utd out of the cup confidence is running high.

of course there are no walk overs in the championship and anyone can beat anyone, we're bound to have hiccups. but that transfer window was MASSIVE

Bournemouth's looks good on paper

Freddy Woodman vs Sol Brynn
Nat Philips vs Nathan Wood
Siriki Dembele vs Aaron Connolly
Todd Cantwell vs Riley McGree
Kiefer Moore vs Folarin Balogun

I think we've had the better window, Woodman & Philips are further on than Brynn & Wood but I honestly think we have the better players.
add into the likes of Caolan Boyd-Munce and Neil Taylor and we look in REALLY good shape. We have a solid base and plenty of room for our newbies to spread their wings and get their chance. Our big players were already here, we've just improved on our fringe players.

Balogun better than Ikpeazu Connolly better than Browne Boyd-Munce better than Wing McGree better than Siliki Taylor better than Ameobi Bilongo better than Kokolo Brynn better than Stojanović Wood better than.. Hernandez (in defence)

Got more money in for Spence and others! Thank god for Neil Warnock eh! for sorting out our recruitment department!!

Based on average points gained over the season we would see the table finish thus:

Fulham 96
Bournemouth 87
---------------------
QPR 82
Blackburn 78
Sheff Utd 74
Middlesbrough 73

Boro vs QPR Semi with a Boro vs Blackburn Final - interesting.

am I getting ahead of myself for thinking I should be booking a hotel for the play off final?

I fancy us for finishing 4th or 5th in the semi's with Blackburn or Sheff Utd I'm guessing a Boro vs QPR final

Saturday May 7th Last League Game
Saturday May 14th FA Cup Final
Play Off First Leg 15th
Play Off Second Leg 21st
Sunday May 29, 2022 Play Off Final

So I'm not booking any London hotels for the 14th or the 21st as I think it will be QPR in the final.. or maybe Blackburn. We're not going to London for the semi's anyway. My concern now is us having five big games in one month at the end of the season. Will the playoffs distract from our FA Cup Final or Vice Versa?

You rang m'lud? (The 50pt line has gone to be replaced by the 80pt line, of course when I did this we immediately lost to Blackburn
I must say I'm not a fan of your abstract work. The graph below however is pure poetry it has action, drama.. comedy
