Although it has my name written on the top of the back of the sleeve, I suspect my dad might have encouraged me to spend my birthday money on it!
Come on people, let's have a bit of honesty here, everyone's first album seems to be dripping in 'cool'. Let's add a bit of truth into the mix.......

That's a pretty eclectic first 3 albumsI don’t remember exactly which album I bought first but it was between MC Hammer’s ’Please Hammer Don’t Hurt ‘Em’, Betty Boo’s ’Boomania’ and Poison’s ‘Flesh & Blood’.
I bought it local. Probably from Fearnleys.Talking heads - True stories.
Had to go to Red Rhino records in York to buy it as none of the local ones had it

Cloughie was amazing and I was 9 years old in 1957 when I signed up for life. My favourite uncle bought this for me and I still have it. A few months later, my family emigrated from Boro to Canada.
