What was the crowd today?

Wasn't announced in the ground, but it looked about 24-25,000.

Looked like a great turnout from Preston, considering the size of their fanbase, so credit to them.

Some didn’t show up? I couldn’t buy my normal seat, guessing it’s a ST seat now

It's more than most clubs will bring here, and most aren't as small a club as Preston are now.

It's not a big place and it's surrounded by a **** tonne of clubs, most more successful than them.
Most away followings to us are pitiful, bringing a few more, for a relatively short distance, doesn't make it great.
It's population is bigger than you think, a lot bigger than say Burnley or Blackburn.
The wider Preston conurbation contains 420k.

I thought the atmosphere was alright today. South Stand in good voice, the Sol tribute was befitting of an amazing bloke. The crowd for me continued to get behind the team all game - lots of vocal support for Latte Lath again

Preston area (336k) is much bigger than Burnley and just over 2 hours drive in a car they should bring 1,000 fans for a Saturday afternoon game.

If Preston conurbation is 420k its actually bigger population than Middlesbrough, Stockton, Redcar and Cleveland councils area. I think they are 410k together.
