What point do you stop watching / leave

When forss was subbed that was the manger giving up for me . Felt like turning it off then .
Forss is just coming back from a long injury absence and has scored in last two games. Carrick, quite rightly, had an eye on our league games including Sunderland.
As for turning off, I’m glad that I saw Rogers’ excellent goal, and the great support shown by our fans to the team for their great cup run. As another poster said - we are not Mackems.

You have to feel sorry for the fans that decided they'd rather count their stamp collection than watch that goal by Rogers.

Wish I had something to fill the void like that.

this 💯

All the light we cannot see, on Netflix, a good world war 2 drama.

Much better use of my time than watching that embarrassment.

Glad to see the great support for the team with people watching to the final whistle but watching 4-0 down was as much as I was prepared to sit through

It's rubbish, nowhere near as good as the book and the lass who played the blind girls is rubbish. She just needs to hit it into the channels sometimes. Hold on where am I?

My mate left at HT tonight. He has a young baby and a bit of a commute.

He also got in 10 minutes late so paid approximately £1 per minute of football. 🤣

I'd like to say never, but back when I had a season ticket it was about the timing to get back home, midweek, on the last train
I did stay in Travelodges a few times! And got in bother

Stopped watching soon as the fourth goal went in. Game is over now.

Got me thinking, what's the earliest you've ever left a game or turned the TV off and at what scoreline?

I think tonight is the earliest for me, it's beaten Burton Albion in the cup at home when I left for the nav at 1-0.
When was this, the cup game was away

We went to the Riverside in the legends lounge to watch it and I’d say half those in attendance left at half time, genuinely.

Watched it until the Carrick interview last night and usually do when on TV.

When I go to games, if driving and IF 2-0 or more down or up I will leave 5 mins early to avoid the rush!

There’s been a few times in 60 years of watching that it’s been tempting to leave early …..but you don’t do it, do you? Worth staying till the end tonight, even if a few around me had cleared off, just to see the goal and be part of that fantastic away support at the end. Boro team and Carrick obviously appreciated it as they stood and clapped for a long time in appreciation. Chelsea fans were straight out the exits, entitled lot. Just imagine what we’d have been like if we were on our way to Wembley. Oh well, we move on! UTB!

He'd still have had a young baby and a bit of a commute if we weren't losing. That doesn't make sense.

I love threads like this

It brings out the fans who have a right to shout about their self importance as a fan and look down on others
