What is hugely overrated?

Her obese mate was sat in-between us and I didn't recognise her till later on. She and her "entourage" all sounded (unsurprisingly) as annoying as fook too. Still, it's an anecdote.

Kuta is rougher than sandpaper, I feel safe enough anywhere, but that place seemed dodgy :LOL: Plus, my mate had us eating "street meat", so I ended up feeling like I was gonna die for about three days.

Yeah I fell into the street food trap, the missus looked at me like I was an idiot as I sampled it. Which was fair.

So there we were in the Kuta warzone at midnight, trying to avoid drunk Aussies and find a hotel. Found one that looked ok, the guy showed us to our room just in time to see a massive cockroach scuttling across the floor. Like it was nothing (which it probably wasn't to him) he squashed it, picked it up then pulled out the egg sac with his fingers 🤢

Relief then to anguish, sounds like you've got some stories though, which is the main thing I think. At least I remember Bali, there's plenty of places I've zero recollection of! Sometimes a bit of bad, can be good/ fun, in a daft way.

Given we missed earlier flight from Kuala Lumpur (by 5 mins 🤦‍♂️) probably the idiot one! 😂
