I have spent the last 3 weeks back at the Buddhist retreat. I worked 30 hours a week to get a free stay and food, plus free teaching sessions. I have struggled over the years and I hope this will finally work for me. I have never been one for material things but this has taught me to love others, which in turn will make others love others too. I have never really cared a ***** about others (wife and very close family apart) but I now have an open mind (not your brain) about this more.
I met a guy who went there to find himself. He said he didn't know if he wanted to be a Silicon Valley mega millionaire or a tramp in the street, he just wanted to find his inner peace and be happy.
Just enjoy being you and be you as a person who is loving and giving. Today in Tesco an "elderly" woman asked where the Barley water was, she thought I worked there but I helped her find it and she was so grateful. I didn't need to but I wanted to, it took me 5 minutes out of my day.
