What improved your quality of life, so much, you wish you did it sooner?

Eating the right amount of calories your body needs 👍

These Japanese toilets/bidets are the way forward and if you’ve eaten properly there’s less to clean up 🥴

Dogs. Apart from that they’re beautiful things and brilliant to have around, the 1hr walk every day in whatever conditions and how friendly and social it is does wonders for you. That’s my best quick fix.

Having music on all the time, and decent headphones.

Working 30 hours a week.

Chilling a bit with the booze, it’s good for clarity and energy to have a week or two away from hangovers every few months.

Working from home, I do probably more hours now (albeit largely made up by no commuting) but they're as and when I want so it doesn't even feel like a chore.

Using the scan as you shop so you don't have to pack at the checkout. I used to hate going to the checkout in supermarkets.

Like most people as they get older not giving time or tolerating idiots.

Family and my dogs.

Not drinking alcohol

Surprising how many people (including myself) see giving up booze as an improvement. When I decided to quit I had a bad case of Fear of Missing Out and I'm surprised how I can still enjoy going out without the help of booze
Main reason of going to meet your mates in the pub is for the social interaction

Ignoring people on Teams and clicking Decline on meeting requests if it looks like a waste of my time.

Have worked from home for 15+ years. It was great until the lockdown lot got in on the game and spoiled it for us with their needy "shall we have a call about this" shight.

I haven't given up drinking but have given up going to the pub regularly. I will still go for a few pints but up until about 8 years back I would spend my full weekend in the pub and I missed out on so much.

I enjoy catching up with friends, I love the frisk with the lads in the pub and have always enjoyed a night out, afterwards I always feel that I am glad I don't do it every week.

As mentioned above, I now spend quality time with people over a meal.

Walking is brilliant. South Gare is a real hidden gem.
I have always loved the Gare and have literally spent hours down there. My intention was to spend time Mackerel fishing off the pier but I understand you can't fish off the end.

Walking, I love to get on the moors.

(trying to) drink the required amount of water each day.

Used to suffer from frequent, severe headaches before. Was just dehydration obviously .
