Like when he threw a wobbler at Sheff United and wanted £4m.. sounds like he wanted the Burnley job and threw a wobbler.I have limited access to the internet today. So for ease of finding, please can all theories on why now be briefly put on this thread. Thanks in advance.
Lack of birthday tweet may have been something in it after all

I think it’s some sort of dogging lingoIs a wobbler a dwarf of some description?
Club don't know whether they're coming or going. This is like a smaller scale version of sacking Woodgate when he lost the first game back from the COVID break. Why bother giving him that game if he's going to be sacked? Swansea should've been Warnock's first game, just like Coventry should've been the new manager's first game, or Leo's first game as interim whilst the interview process was conducted over the international break. It just shows clear poor judgement from Gibson, Bausor, Scott, and whoever else has a say. They must've known before that Coventry game they were getting rid of him. One defeat doesn't cause a knee jerk sacking. Unless his post match comments irked them on top of all the other things he's said.Timing is weird. What a waste of an international break. Unless someone has just become available
I think that wilder knew that Cov was his last game hence his selection that baffled everybodyClub don't know whether they're coming or going. should be an interview question for any job. See also. "I hate a yes man, don't you?"Wilder and Gibson got in to a huge row about whether ketchup or brown sauce is better in a back Sandwich. Wilder was on the ketchup side and had to go.
Brought in a great manager but probably under false pretences that we’d have big bucks to spend in the summer provided he stabilised us and aimed for a playoff challenge. Probably underplayed the head of recruitment role as we did with Warnock and as such Wilder didn’t get his targets and the club didn’t match his ambition, hence we started the season having signed a lot of talented free agents to compensate as opposed to five or six good squad players. This has then made it harder for the squad to gel and led to the form at the start of the season carrying over.I have limited access to the internet today. Yes Drury just confirmed on radio both Burnley and wilder were interested in the job. Wilder was a snakeThe educated guess, supported by how the locals rags reported today, is that the Burnley interest was pivotal - the contrast in both performances and results either side of that event is marked.
So whilst it's not a huge shock given our poor form, it did seem that this decision was driven by more than just results alone.
