What book are you currently reading?

I’ve been reading “The Botham Report” for the last couple of years. It is a hatchet job Ian Botham wrote about Ray Illingworth in 1997. I read a chapter about once every couple of months.

Hope and Glory - Rugby League in the Thatcher years.

Despite the rather dry sounding title it’s an absolutely cracking read if you’re interested in RL and how it changed and adapted to attract new fans, and integrated non-traditional players and clubs.

Edit - Rugby League in Thatcher’s Britain

If you are interested in military history just finished:
To the Last Round: The Epic British Stand on the Imjin River Korea 1951 by Andrew Salmon
Though I was reading a Commando comic book only it was real. Well worth a read.
I visited Gloster hill last October. Wish I had read the book first.
