Impeccable dignity shown today.

Procession was faultless, a fantastic job well done by all those who where involved

Not sure I could have held my emotions together if I`d have still been in service and within that procession

Fair play to the Bearer Party as well. The pressure those lads were under and they executed their role to perfection. I’m sure a proud day for them and their families. Those lads shouldn’t have to buy a pint for a long time to come

Just said the same to Mrs Morrissey - young lads with an enormous responsibility, the same squad who carried HM to Westminster Hall. An absolutely outstanding job.

Have to admit I surprised myself by shedding a few tears when that coffin went down....just reminded me of the curtain going round the coffin at some of my loved ones cremations. Mind didn't help that my bottom lip started to wobble when I saw the Corgis at the drive past at Windsor

For me it doesn't matter what anyone's opinion on the monarchy is. In my lifetime no one has every shown such a selfless sense of duty and care for people regardless of their nationality or faith.
Imagine being the family and having the mass of public duties immediately following the death of your mother/grandmother.

I understand that there may be a debate about the shape of the future of the monarchy but now is neither the time or place.

Imagine being the family and having the mass of public duties immediately following the death of your mother/grandmother.

I’d also question how selfless it is to pay £12million of taxpayer money to a minor a family member claims he didn’t assault. They were ushering the homeless in London out of sight, whilst at the same time handing out blankets to the drones stood in the queue. We are not the same.

It’s over now, it’s the perfect time to debate the monarchy. It needs abolishing. And before anybody starts with the ‘do you know how much money in tourism they generate’ argument. We could abolish them, open up everything they have to the public and generate the same. The added bonus being we wouldn’t have a shining beacon of the inequality that’s rife in this country to support.

Yeah, what a responsibility that was, literally had the weight of the world on their shoulders. And it was a mighty spectacle....no one does pomp and ceremony like us brits
