What “old” show are you now catching up with

Another one to have caught up with Spooks. Had seen up to series 7 (thought it was 6 so rewatched 7 even though it was obvious straight away!. Then watched the movie which they've put on iPlayer as well.

Not as old but watched The Expanse on Amazon Prime. A guy I was on a course with before Christmas recommended it highly and he wasn't wrong.

Had killing Eve on the Tivo for a couple of years and finally got round to watching that too. Not as good as I was expecting but having just finished series (season?) one I'll give two a chance.

The Expanse (y)

Great to see Sci-fi that pays attention to detail, gets the science right and has realistic predictions about the future. Plus Gravity is effectively a major character. Apparently the scripts were colour coded depending on whether the scene was on Mars, Earth, the belt or zero gravity, so that everyone knew the gravity they were acting under.

catching up with all the cop shows i never watched-past and present
watch Endeavour,Lewis,Midsommer Murder,Vera and George Gently
also watch Heartbeat

Once the rain comes I've recorded the Boro v Chesterfield FAC SF, Liverpool v Everton 1977 FAC SF & Grease, 👍
Along with cups of tea & chocs, plus while the wife's at work 👍😁

This thread has inspired to rewatch all my old stuff. Currently working my way through Eureka, forgot how good it was.

Eureka is that a town called eureka ?

if so then, snap as I had the box set on a shelf not even open but I started watching it yesterday.

I recently finished The Shield on C4's catch up only annoying thing is all the ad breaks, I'm sure it used to be on Netflix.

My go to binge is Porridge followed by the movie spin offs and then Going Straight.

ITV3 currently running Rising Damp which is always funny, just the right side of political correctness, also The Sweeney, The Professionals and Minder on ITV4.

Yep, its daft sci-fi, but quite entertaining. Its 14 years old now.

I enjoyed Eureka. Was devvoed when it got canned despite widespread fan protests.

Accountants in charge. I was gutted when they canned Alcatraz after one season and now Lucifer is canned after the coming season 5.

Endeavour loved it when Mrs Thursday had the hump. New tricks ,Law and Order uk we record these and watch when there is nothing on tv worth watching.
