Feel like I'm getting more relaxed about signings these days. Really hope he signs and I think he will.
But if he doesn't then it's probably because he didn't really want to be here. In which case better off without. Everything you hear sounds like that isn't the case though.

2 years left on contact and this season with us. He will be worth considerably less money this time next year. A perm would be left field and out of the blue.

The Government have asked Boro to delay the announcement to Monday afternoon , just after they announce the new covid pub lockdown on Monday morning .
It is to give the British public an immediate lift when learning Boro are closer to a premier league return .

I can only imagine that the ‘delay’ is because the non international players have been given time off.
Not much point in paying him for sitting at home.
I imagine, once everyone is ‘back at work’ he will join them.

It's definitely down to the break. I imagine most none international players could be given 4-5 days off. We know Warnock isn't at the club.
As stated no point paying him to be sat at home. Although I imagine we probably are. Hardly any domestic loans have happened this week.
I think it will all ramp up next week once the real deadline looms.
