What’s everyone getting their other half for Christmas?

I’m a bit stumped for ideas, and don’t want to just go through the motions. I’ve previously sent her on a vegan cooking course and things like that, but experiences are probably a bit risky atm.

So far I’m at a pair of Chelsea boots she asked for and a bottle of Gin from a new distillery which has launched in the village next to us.

Literally no idea. Normally it’s a night away and some gifts to go with, or something like that but with the current situation we live in and the fact she will be 8 months pregnant I am really struggling for ideas for a main present this year! any ideas anyone?

Nowt- we are giving any money we would have spent on pressies to various charities.
Is that a hard nowt though? Or will there be an atmosphere if there isn't at least one present to open on the day, I think I'd hedge my bets and maybe have a surprise up my sleeve

I go to the local deli and fill up a box of edible goodies that will last her a few weeks. A very easy way to spend money and get stuff she wouldn't normally buy.
This is a good idea, we do have a decent little deli in our village, looks like I’m popping in to see Sue tomorrow.

We both like our events and holidays, last year I took her to New York, this year it’s jewellery and perfume 🤷🏼‍♂️

If she could have anything she would probably choose to have a baby 😬 or to hug her mum who has IGG4 for the first time in nearly a year. Wish I could give her that, the hug, not the baby yet obviously.

My wife and I don't buy each other gifts at Christmas but are making an exception this year what with the way things have been all year. I have bought her a hair dryer. It's what she wanted also I bought her a cordless hoover 2 weeks ago so she's done OK out of me this year....

If I bought my missus a hoover for Christmas don't think I'd make it to Boxing Day....

I know a older gentleman that bought his wife a Hoover for Xmas. It was back in the day when you often bought the plug separately, he gave her the plug all wrapped up first, she thought she was getting jewellery. They are divorced now.

Mrs Vegas' much-loved chihuahua died last month, so she's just chosen a very cute new chihuahua puppy, which we're picking up from the breeder on Christmas Eve. So, I'm afraid I'm flying in the face of that old "don't get someone a puppy for Christmas" thing. Must admit, having met and picked her up, the pup is tiny and very, very cute. Mrs V is absolutely made up and can't wait now.

I struggle to wrap something that’s not even square let alone a chihuahua.
