Wettest May on record

Been utterly miserable all month, never stopped raining and virtually a polar opposite of last May (iirc although there have been lots of brain cells lost in the past year thanks to The House of the Trembling Madness, Whitby Gin and Laithwaites).

April had the most April frosts on record as well. Not a great spring so far, surely things will get better otherwise I’ll be sending a strongly worded tweet to Greta and The Don indicating the former was wrong and the latter right all along.

Come on sun, where are you? Let’s be having you!

Another big low pressure system heading this way over the next few days too. More wind, rain and low temperature!

April cold and ridiculously dry, May a sodden mess. Apparently a heat wave coming mid June. it’s not been great for my veg. Broad beans seem to be doing fine, but Berlotti beans have given up, unraveled from their canes the works.

Last spring was great if I remember just overshadowed by the brunt of the pandemic

environment change means more extreme spells, she's right.

Yes it's been crap, I've been wanting to get out and photograph some nebula and galaxies, it's cloudy and wet every bloody weekend.
