West Ham tonight.

Antonio started out at Tooting and Mitchum
didn't realise that, he's now the second best prospect to graduate from that club :ROFLMAO:

Good player mind, I wanted us to get him when he was at Sheff Wed and Forest.

As for West Ham. They can be a good side on their day. But they lack a bit of consistency. I think it would be difficult to get them to take the next step up and start to regularly challenge the top 6, because you would probably need 6 or 7 new players to come in and gel to step up. 10 players are over the age of 30 as well, so they've probably peaked this season, and will need a rebuild anyway.

Moyes has done a cracking job there.

Their spine is up there with the best. Rice & Soucek are a great CM partnership and they compliment each other extremely well. And then up top they have a real proper striker.

I think it's only his injury record that has stopped Antonio going to one of the big clubs.

He has absolutely everything you need to be a top striker.

Defenders must hate playing against him.

He can hold it up, he can win headers, he can run in behind, he can score goals, he can bring players into play, he can draw fouls, he can be a target man. The bloke is a machine.

If he stays fit, then West Ham will have another good season.

Couldn't believe the attendance last night, until I realised it was the first match post-Covid.

They certainly do look a decent team, probably top 8. I'll be surprised if they finish above Leicester despite beating them comfortably last night.

Fingers crossed someone comes in and buys all their best players before the window shuts.

The absolutely need another CF as back up. They have one forward (Bowen can't play down the middle)

I think Lingard may end up on loan again. I think he'd be daft not to go to sit on the UTD bench.

They are a very good side. They have made some cracking signings (the two Czech Republic lads). They have a very good 'spine' as in goal keeper /two big lump CBs who are a threat on setplays. Also a decent CM.

They do need a bit of investment as it's a long season with Europe. I'd say 2-3 decent signings.

They are definitely on the up If you look at the likes of Arsenal and Everton who gave spent far more.

I'd love to see West Ham relegated, can't stand them. They won the world cup, the Tevez thing and the free stadium at our expense and many more reasons.

It looks unlikely sadly and the only comfort/schadenfreude I might glean would be if they deny Man Utd getting their noses in the CL trough.

I was surprised when the commentator said Michail Antonio is now West Hams all-time top goal scorer.
I'm guessing anything before 92 never really happened.

They were good last season and look so again too. They’ve got some brilliant players and I’d not be surprised if Creswell is pushing for the England squad in September.

He’s got some doing to try and push chilwell and or Shaw out though. That said 4 right backs in a squad before so why not 3 left backs 🤷‍♂️

I'm another one in the irrational dislike of West Ham club. Having said that I like Moyes and their starting XI is really strong.

I like seeing unexpected teams upset the applecart and get top 4, but I would struggle with West Ham doing it.

I’ve just an irrational hatred for them. I really can’t explain it.

As for tonight, they got lucky with the sending off. Won’t last. Bump this in May if they get into Europe and take the **** out of me (they won’t)
Me too although I can explain it.

The Carlos Tevez scandal, that ought to have seen them relegated, Is one reason. Any team playing an unregistered player, in any English league - at any level, would have been - just not West Ham.
I got the biggest hiding of my life thanks to the ICF who beat me unconscious, in Ilford, and left me laying in the street in the late 80's. There was about 20 of them vs me, on my own. Very brave boys.
