Well that's it for the English Leagues...

If the esl happens I’ll be finished with football. Just devalues everything we have as fans. If they can take our game away what’s they point

For clubs like ours who will never be able to properly compete with the Manchester clubs, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal etc - a more competitive Premier League with the ‘have’s’ swanning off to Europe sounds pretty good. Happy to travel up and down the country to watch Boro rather than jump on board planes to Europe or watch our games on tv when they are played in the likes of Saudi, the Far East and America on the money grab tour of the new European League. The loss of Sky revenue will be difficult but it might finally bring the indefensible players salaries under control. UTB

Liverpool fans booed and barracked Mackem Jordan Henderson for jumping ship and joining the Saudi moneyball, so let's see if they follow suit and do the same when they join the American moneyball.

1982 there was a proposal to crate a ‘British Super League’

Interesting that Chelsea are no where to be seen.. Rangers is interesting.. I guess they are the Spurs of their time.

Independent regulator

In order to compete in the PL you will need a licence from the regulator and one of the terms will be that you cannot join a breakaway super league.
In that case none of those sides will agree to those terms. Potentially all of them? I definitely wouldn't.

Which in turn will test the legality of the independent regulator through the courts.

Yet more typical Tory grandstanding which plays well with the electorate but ignores the legal and financial capability of the big sides to push through what they want.

Yeah I get that.. but then we're talking about replacing the likes of Chelsea and Spurs who are massive whoppers anyway.
Even Chelsea, much as I hate them, and much as I might think some of their fans have dodgy attitudes, do not define themselves as the white club of England, and do not make that part of their theme. Of course, it would no doubt be only in a positive way like the old firm, don’t you know. They are not being white supremacist, they are merely celebrating white culture.

To be honest, this could have happened to a club of the 1970s and Chelsea might have been a candidate. If it had, if people in Manchester were supporting Chelsea because “they were the white club” even though they were, of course “not racist” we would know they were full of it. If Chelsea in such a scenario, for example, waved confederate flags, but only as a positive white symbol, we would see through it. This is the nonsense we are expected to swallow from Rangers and Celtic. This is what they do. They are big clubs with support outside Glasgow only because they attract racists and celebrate the fact that they attract racists. They can keep the f- out of English football.
