Well said Mark Drury

I’d also like to know why journalists aren’t reporting things. If they knew at Easter that Wilder was in for the Burnley job then report it. It’s literally your job.

Our local media are a joke, a sham. They haven’t been the same since the club banned a couple of them for supposedly speaking out of term.

If they really knew about any of the Burnley stuff but kept shtum then I don’t know how they have the audacity to call themselves journalists/reporters.

The drop off in performances around that time is interesting though - had the players been made aware that Wilder wanted to leave? Did his effort/style noticeably change? We'll never know but I've not seen it happen to such an extent before.
Do you know which part I don't get?

Steffen / Roberts, Lenihan, Clarke, Mowatt, Giles, Muniz are all new players. McGree to an extent. They've all played nearly every game, that's half the team.

If the squad in March were upset at the idea of Wilder looking at other jobs, why did it spread to the guys who just arrived in the summer? Surely they'd be immune from dressing room toxicity. Especially since a few of them were brought in to provide "leadership". Or was the situation already so toxic that they got wrapped up in it straightaway?

It's an extraordinary downturn though, we've all seen the stats - automatic promotion form of nearly 2 points a game before, relegation form of 1 point a game after.
