Man of the match today for me. I said in the Blackburn game thread, I can tell you after 5 minutes whether we should just cut our losses and get him off the pitch. He’s either on or off and today I knew after 5 minutes he was gonna have a good one.

He never seems to be able to play himself into a game if he starts poorly 😂

He was far from crap - high energy performance , closed down, some good crosses. Had a hand in the goal. Some great through balls. Ahh I wrote all that before realising you are on a wind up!!
 
Excellent performance from him today, comfortably man of the match.

Still needs to work on his deliveries, but he was all over the pitch today and never stopped running.
 
Played well today, thought he was the best of the midfielders. We were overrun there though today, luckily Coventry were woeful up front
 
Another top game. Set the tone early on and followed it up with a brilliant hard working performance. Won the ball back a lot for us.
 
High energy performance both on and off the ball. Yes I'd still like him to start chipping in with goals and assists but his all round game was good today.

I've been critical but in fairness you look at how important Jordan Henderson is for Liverpool. He doesn't chip in with goals and assists but he gets the team playing.

To be fair on the assist front he's created 3 great chances in the last two games. He can't do anything about the fact nobody stuck them away
 
Only Tav haters would say he was crap today. He had a very good first half in what was a sub standard performance as a team - a bit more erratic with some of his passing second half but ran his socks off and showed real commitment right up to the final whistle. Impressed with the lad today
 
He was excellent today, arguably his best game of the season. He was a terrier out of possession and in possession made many excellent passes and through balls. Definitely the M.O.T.M

Well done tav, now keep it up 👏
