No I totally agree, I don't think you should get a knighthood for sport, not sure what reaction you think I want.
 
Ultimately all the race director should have done is add one lap to the race and let all lapped cars through. Same result probably would have happened as Verstappen was in the last chance saloon and again I don't think Hamilton defended that overtake as well as we know he could of.

They can't add laps due to fuel requirements, remember 1 litre has to remainin every car for inspection or is that rule that doesn't need to apply?

Ultimately they should've just stuck to their own rules and finished under the safety car just as they would've if it was any other race day.

They'll still label him a moaner. For a certain type of personality they'll hate Lewis of he cures covid tomorrow and cancer the day after. If he walked on water certain people on here would criticise him for not being able to swim.

But you're right. It's likely Lewis has asked them to drop it. He's not the type of person who'd want to make a fuss out of this

This is what is wrong with the sport. A race is a race. If you can finish under green flags they should do EVERYTHING possible to do this.

I've watched F1 for 20 odd years taking a break over the last few as it was getting dull and tedious. The last two races have brought me back and it's been fantastic to watch.

Last week Hamilton appeared to get the favour of the stewards, this week it was Verstappen. Swings and roundabouts.

All those who are saying they are finished with F1 shall we book mark this thread and see if you have watched it next year? You probably will.

Yesterday was everything motor racing should be. Reminded me of the good old days when there was proper needle with drivers rather than one bloke driving off in the lead.

I'll be watching next year for sure now.

You don't see that the reason why people are up in arms about this is because it was totally unfair, ignoring the rules and precedent previously applied. Mercedes would have brought Hamilton in and tyre changed if they'd have known. No team would have expected the race to end in one lap shoot out where one driver was given such an advantage. Max was handed Hamilton on a plate and he and Redbull knew it.
