Wearing shorts outside in winter

I love wearing shorts in summer as much as the next person but I can see no logic in wearing shorts during the winter. I've just been out and seen a guy wearing a thick winter coat up top and then a pair of shorts.

Do any of you wear shorts outdoors in winter?

Anyone who replies yes is obviously a postman, for whom long trousers are seemingly banned.

Plenty at the match as well normally quite rotund people with goaties. And shaved heads.

If I'm going out walking and its a mild winters day then I'll wear shorts. The current weather - absolutely not.

Just off to the gym and pool so I'll run there in shorts etc but change into lots of layers when finished

I also saw two lasses at Marton shops at the weekend in flimsy silk pyjamas and crocs. One walked into the pizza shop where I was and said I’m freezing!

When i used to play football in the winter i would always walk there in my full kit. After the game finished i was so hot that walking home in my shorts was a great way to cool off.

To be fair if the rest of you is suitably covered, then wearing shorts instead of trousers don't actually make that much difference to me, when I pop out into the garden, or waiting to play footy or whatever etc, and obviously, women do similar all year around.

I don't see the point in it mind, as in I'm not sure what there is to gain by choosing shorts, it just could obviously go badly wrong, especially if you're stood or sat outside for a long time.

The flip-flops thing is ludicrous though, no way is that going to be a benefit to anyone, clearly got a screw loose.

In this weather, if I could only pick 3/4 from gloves, shoes, hat and trousers I'd be picking trousers last though (assuming I already had shorts on).

Yes, when I'm coaching, so the boys don't feel like they can wear those stupid underarmour things. I agree legs don't get cold. Not when they are as hairy as mine

Men should never wear shorts under any circumstances ever. I don't want to see your disgusting hairy legs. If it were up to me all men would wear some sort of hijab.
