We Need a total lockdown

What are we doing to protect people from the flu given it’s killing 5-6 times more people at the moment?
England deaths from flu:
14/15 - 28.330
15/16 - 11,857
16/17 - 18,009
17/18 26,408

Those figures where with ZERO social distancing to stop spread. With social distancing, face masks, hand sanitizer, and lock down, CV-19 has killed more people in 8 months than flu in any 12 month period in England.

So please, stop talking shyte.

You think I am someone else lol. I have no other account. Never have not until this account was activated a coupe of days ago.

So ignored based on what exactly? more than one account was created on a certain date, what type of logic is that, very strange, guess you don't like differing opinions, again very strange.

Calling people names you do not know, new members at that, which I am a new member, doesn't lend itself well to this forum.

So my first post I get called names and ignored because you think I am a different ember. Nice welcome that is, very inclusive lot.

Poor showing for a supposed forum to discuss a very serious issue.

actvated 2 days ago. created August 8th. Anything else you wanna acuse a new member of.

I'm waiting for an apology.

wow look at that 18th of september, 3 days ago.

You really wanna die on that hill or apologise before everyone else sees you harrasing a new member for basically posting for the first time.

So a new member posts something about a discussion that you don't agree with. That said member is immediatly ignored, harrassed and called names for posting something you again don't agree with. Sounds a lot like twitter.

This is a discussion isn't it. Can't have a discussion if only 1 side is able to be heard.

I'm still waiting for that apology.

I can confirm that this account was left unactivated for a long time and activated this last week.

As we test more we will find more cases. But the premise of testing in this country currently is that it happens if you're symptomatic- so we would expect more demand for testing as more cases arise and therefore more positive tests.

To say more testing finds more cases is factually true, but if there were less cases there would be less demand for testing as seen in the late lockdown months.

1Boro1 you have posted a couple of links, not sure what point you are trying to make, that people die of flu? Yup that is true, that more people have died of flu in the last couple of months than covid? Yup also true. But.. what is your point? That flu is more deadly than covid? is that your point? Please tell me it isn't?
