I'm very hopeful that Engels and Latte lath come in but Johnny's only got 1 year left. So we need a replacement. Smith did ok but he was far too slow, especially to a cross field pass. Mcnair is not the answer. So we need a right back. I actually prefer Dijkstell in that position as he's quicker and offers a lot more going forward. I like Rodgers and what he gives to the team but he's weak in front of goal. We need far more pace and movement up front if we're going to get close to emulating last season. And we need a marauding right and left back along with an eventual replacement for Jonny because I'm sorry at the minute Barlaser isn't him.

we need quality not necessarily quantity but probably both would be a stretch, but hope springs eternal. Let’s see—we just got rid of two strikers although you can’t really count Hoppe in that category, and we’ve (just brought) only brought in one who is kind of ok based n his stats. We still need to find another striker who can fill in — not too sure if either Gilbert or Rogers can.
 
Surprised gilbert hasn't had a chance yet to be honest. He certainly looks more of a 9 than Rodgers. Hopefully Rodgers turns in to more of a 10 when we make signings as from what I've seen he's not a 9
 
Can see Lath and Engel and another permanent signing with 2-3 loans. Wouldn't be surprised if a couple of players left and a few loaned out.

So, we hopefully cover CFx2, LB, RB, CM.

Two genuine full backs and a fella who can stick the ball in the net will make a massive difference 👍
 
I think it also depends on who leaves the club. As things stand with the arrivals on the new lads this week I think we NEED, another striker and Chubas replacement.
What I'd WANT though in an ideal world is the long term Howson successor and a first choice Right Back.
However Paddy's future isn't secure here with his deal running out he's one of those you'd think we'd listen to offers for.
If posters on oneboro are you be beleived Hayden Coulson could be on his way so we'd need another left back and quite possibly a Crooks replacement if that rumour happens to be true as well.

For me I'd be happy with Willock as a Chuba replacement but unsure on the rest

Willock and Silvera battle for the LM and Rogers gets a chance at No 10. Forss right. McGree can play LM or RM and we have Gilbert to challenge too.

We need two full backs engel left back plus one more coulsons not good enough. At right back i would prefer smith to be the back up. As for McNair get the joker out of the club.
 
We play a 4 up to play diamond and as it stands its this

I can see Coburn going on loan , Crooks going , maybe Jones.
2 goal scorers are needed to replace Akpom and Archers goals .
Willock would improve it.

Midfield is light with only Hackney a starter . Barlaser and Howson need improving on . A top CM is needed .
Mcnair needs to go now for money or a swap .

Defence - new LB is in , Coulson moving on if chat is correct ,the central pairing has been poor as a pair and something needs to change . RB Smith should be a back up to someone better and younger , like Norton Cuffy . Dijksteel may also move on so LB RB LCH - YES , a LCH .( can't rely on Clarke yet )
That makes 6 , can and will it happen ? Doubt it , but I live in hope .
 
If Coulson moves on, we have no LB cover. Two LBs brought in??

McGree is not a LB and should only be an in game emergency.

RB on loan depending on how long the injuries will be out for
LB cover

Ideally I'd want a proven wider player to allow Silvera, Gilbert, Rogers etc to be introduced slowly/off the bench but I don't think that'll happen

Looking at Engel stats , he is not just a LB , more a LWB , LW CF , AM .
191 games , 31 goals , 22 assists . 10 gals as a CF .He is Messi's love child 😃

Crooks looks like too big of a miss in there, Tzuanbe on a permanent to cover two injured players? Doesn’t look right. Hannibal looks like a good fit in on loan for Payero.

Willock looks a bit congested, Bitello for Payero maybe, Davies in there.. can’t really see it. Archer looks like a deal could be done.

Ben Johnson from West Ham.. it just me really isn’t it. I’m guessing he would be silly money even with only a year left on his contract.
