We look set to miss out on the play offs

No.
1 point above 17th place Preston - we were floundering [after 17 games].

Warnock`s reign had more than a reasonable level of "injury" during "training" - before and after Morsy. We had no cover at left-back by a left back.

Neither Joe nor Luke have been regular first - team goalkeepers throughout their careers: [unless you count Luke`s 101 appearances in two seasons for Scunthorpe]?

You can read that league position another way: we were ten points away from relegation - and four points from the play-offs.

Wilder - sorry "Chris" - has done ok, but he's made a couple of iffy calls on the goalie situation and the strikers, and he seems to be fluttering his eyelashes at Burnley into the bargain. We all have opinions and his privileged information (seeing these players day in day out) gives his opinions weight. I don't know though, I just have this feeling Connolly isn't this relentless scoring machine, this tank-like hold-up man in training; Lumley isn't this commanding, flawless defensive shield.

It's true, you can't really complain if the flaws are evident, and you don't address them. Fans will say what they see,

Fortunately there are some people who always support King, Country and the Boro and who can be relied upon to upbraid the haters. I say thank God for those people.

If we loose out on a play off position, There is only one area of the park to blame. Our inept forward line. Do not blame the keeper He has made mistakes. Collectively our strikers have being inept. Four useless loaned strikers.

I dont quite understand your points, but its time to get behind the lads tomorrow(y)

UTMB!

It would be nice to get up ti's year, still in with a shout but fading down the stretch. The team isn't quite good enough.

It is a very week championship this year so was a good opportunity but let's see what happens over the last few games.

If Jones doesn’t fire there is precious little creativity.
that's been the same all season and it got us into the play offs.

I said a couple of weeks ago that we would be outside the play offs by this point and maybe even after monday. But we should hold our nerve as we have a great run in. If we are within 2 or 3 points tomorrow night, we can and should make it.

Jones has been firing previously.

Other teams have had plenty of time to work out how to play him now though - Tofollo had him in his pocket today.

You can not expect a player of Jones age and level of experience to carry the team for ever.

Four defeats at home and four games without a goal.

Bubble burst.

Unhappy to admit that the wheels have came off now.

That performance today was dreadful and we're relying on results elsewhere to have a chance.

One run by Jones and Tofollo booked. Another run and another Huddersfield player booked. Unfortunately did not run at them enough. Looks like he has been told not to.

He hasn’t been running at players as much for a while.

Why would you instruct your one genuinely creative player not to do that which is his greatest strength?

When Jones has run at players things have often happened.

Jones has been firing previously.
He has but his final ball has been poor for several weeks. He isn't the finished article, still a lot to learn, still has to gain the consistency. He's been an absolute bonus for us this year though

As damaging as yesterday was, it's still technically in our hands after Sheffield United drew with Bristol City and Blackburn lost.

3 points off 6th with a game in hand.

I have no confidence we'll beat a resurgent Swansea after our last few performances, before somebody accuses me of being rose tinted, but it's not over yet

Just need the manager situation sorting.

Gift and deflection again but still not enough.

Some serious strengthening needed and somebody please put Connolly on a train to Brighton.

Anything is possible...but sheff utd play qpr next...they will beat them without any problem as they are now goosed .... for you ze vor is over sorry to say that ...but we will need a major re build and a full season push....up rhe boro
