We don’t, we lease them from the USA, we require our Subs to be calibrated and rearmed at King’s Bay in Georgia, all our testing is done under USA supervision at Cape Canaveral, many of the key technologies are directly controlled by Washington, including targeting software, guidance systems, gravitational and positioning information etc

The warheads are manufactured at Aldermaston but they're pretty useless without missiles to stick them to.

They’re ran as a US/U.K. partnership with Lockheed Martin and Halliburton being the two major American partners, you have the AWE (Atomic Weapons Establishment) who are responsible for the British ran components and they’re 2/3rd’s American, Jacob’s and Lockheed Martin, again, with Serco the U.K. partner, the CEO of AWE is Kevin Bilger, who was at Lockheed Martin for over 30 years and is American.

Ok but I'm sure you get the point. We own the bits on the end of the missiles but we can't guide the missiles on our own. It's all academic anyway because a nuclear war with France or anyone else isn't going to happen. They are a greater military power than us though.

It’s the grey figures you need to look at as this is what caused brexit and will decide any vote. People often concentrate on the definites and ignore the marginals as these are things that decide referendums and elections.

Every man and his dog have them, many can't find a job without them, it doesn't make them capitalists, it's something that's been gradually forced on people in many lines of work.
Its about the same diameter as your thumb at its thickest part and about 3-5 inches long.
It would bounce of the side of anything with a bit of armour on it.
That being said it would cut up a fishing boat very well.
The 30mm on Tamar would do a bit more damage... but again is weak against decent protection.
The GPMG's are only for close in last resort stuff... they only fire 7.62mm
