watch live tomorrow?

Have a read of this

Cheers for the link, have read through vpn info. So if I use a VPN what does that mean I can do? Does it mean the mfc web site thinks I am based in a different country and therefore provide me with a link to pay for a stream to watch the match or do I still have to find a dodgy stream? Why does it matter where the vpn is based?

I visited the MFC website yesterday, and audio was the only available day pass for the match. I then downloaded the free version of Aloha vpn for my iPad, and returned to the MFC website where the video day pass for £10 was now an option. I plan on trying this route.

I use the opera browser with built in VPN enabled and the Boro web site doesn't show me an option to buy anything other than audio pass.

If you’ve an iPad the Aloha browser is free to download in the App store, once downloaded click the blue shield icon on the top task bar, it will then ask to configure the vpn. I tried this again this morning & the option to buy a video pass was there, whether it works I don’t know, but I’ll risk a tenner.

Yes when you set up your vpn you can select a country and then pay for the game via the official MFC site.

Bit of Deja Vu here - I pay for my VPN, PIS-Private Internet Access. I've had it for years.

I know a few on here have cheaper or even free ones. Come on lads, what are the options for people wanting to watch the game? What works best on a mac? What works best on a PC?

What are the best places to log into? Personally I use Mongolia.

It seems a shame that people can't watch the game because they don't understand the tech.
I pay for a VPN, downloaded Express VPN app at the start of the season, first week is a free trial...so if only a one off doesn't need to cost.....Boro stream always available to subscribe via mfc digital if you log on from Albania.

My son uses a dodgy free link which has also worked for him every game since Hull, I personally don't mind paying a tenner to the club.

Cheers Otto42. Have paid for a months subscription on Express VPN. Downloaded etc and straight to Boro web site (via Albania) and match pass option is there. Fingers crossed.

Are there any other positives using a VPN then for web browsing? Thanks for the help so far.

You should always use a VPN on open wifi for your own security.

I downloaded the Aloha browser and the option to buy the stream via the MFC site was visible. Whilst setting up account it was on the Sky Sports news channel that the match IS ON via the red button now so will watch it that way.

OK Cheers NYboro.

Before I buy the match pass on the mfc web site, should i log in to my mfc digital account or stay logged out?

You need to be in your MFC digital account to buy the match and browsing through the VPN. Just seen above it's on the red button so you can save a tenner today if you want, but will be able to use for games your not going to in January and not on sky. I personally prefer MFC live to the red button, as Maddo and Drury are preferable to the red button.....but perhaps the tenner is an extravagance.....but hey it's Christmas 😉
