Certainly all the stuff I'm reading from him is classic Warnock. Basically dressing it up that Hudds have no chance and praising our form and Carrick. Hopefully no one at the club is falling for it and MC has the players up for a battle.

It is a mentality battle on Saturday, if Carrick gets out players mentally prepared, we win, as we are a much better side, if we keep possession and let the ball do the running, we tire them out, they won’t be able to cope, just hope they don’t cripple one of our team.

I was - as he's often seemed to ' do a number ' on us in the past
Hoped his having been a manager here might have jinxed that....

He'll have had them fired up at half-time. We, on the other hand, went to sleep.

I was nervous before the game to be honest. He has a knack of knowing how to ‘ruffle a few feathers’ and we got suckered in.

We always struggle against his sides - we had 19 chances to their 12 but managed to lose by 2 goals.

They only had 5 shots on goal and scored with 4!

We have to be tougher and meaner defending.

He will take all the plaudits but unless his half time team talk was telling Boro to defend like rank amateurs then I’m not sure how much credit he should get.

Our defending was truly shocking, I had a bad feeling about todays game before we kicked off but no one could have predicted that second half capitulation.
