Warnock - Brit wasn’t injured he was just not selected

I have a feeling Britts done a 'Rudy' and maybe had a chat. I doubt his hearts in it as leaving in 8 games and offered to clubs in Jan.

That said the big difference is that Rudy was out of contract and wouldn't extend post lockdown. Britt is contracted until July and on a fecking fortune. You can't just decide not to play him when he's the clubs biggest earner.

We are effectively playing without a CF. Fletcher is a crock and Akpom woeful. I would give Watmore a run buts he's never been a forward and really never scored goals. He's at least quick / moves and puts in the effort... Thst alone should see him start.

I genuinely think Akpom will not score again this season. The worst part is that he doesn't even miss chances. He simply doesn't look like a forward. The only bonus is he was 12 Mil less than Britt😂

His No1 was Keifer Moore. Oh god would be so much better with him.

He's also publicly gone on recored as saying we signed Akpom without seeing him play. That sounds 'bad' but covid was very much part of it. Then again just go on Wikipedia and you'd see Akpom averages about 6-7 goals a season and he's 25😕

This is the biggest worry next season. We should just admit a mistake pay up lets say 50% of hiis contract and let him find another club. But it won't happen.
I think his attitude is ok its just that hes not a good footballer.

How he got selected ahead to start of any of those that came on at half time is amazing

After his first appearance I predicted he wouldn't start more than 10 games this season. As much as I like to right it looks like I was wrong.
 
I keep seeing the slagging off of all our strikers aguero wouldnt get 10 in this team. Maybe confidence is gone after feeding on balls that are utter *****. If you think a new striker is gonna solve all our problems your wrong.
Need a replacement for howson, Johnson, spence, bolasie, lang we are rank. Half the champ would love our 3 strikers.
 
Remember when people thought Britt was a good player but it was just a confidence thing as Pulis was mean to him?
