We'd have scored 20 with a decent manager and the opposition were barely pub league level though (etc etc).

There’s a simple answer to that

They won’t

Ridiculous really Bale thought he could barely play for a year, go and train with an MLS team for a few months and then just turn it on in an international tournament.
If he was going to do anything at this World Cup he needed to come somewhere and play regularly and train with decent players.

I think I'm most happy to see us rotate players there and get players the gametime they need.
Can't argue with that result despite it being a bad Wales side.

I remain anxious to see how we'll perform against a good team.

Wales have been so poor this tournament.

The reason for that is Wales are **** at football.

They should stick to rugby. Without Bale they've got nothing. At least he got a few months on the sunshine in LA to get fit. Well tried to get fit anyways. Nowhere near the same player he was when he first joined Real.

Wales didn't even give it a go. Don't think they had a shot worthy of the name in a must win game.

How the Wales manager can say 'magnificent' is weird. All he can legitimately say is they didn't get annihilated but they didn't ever look like they could manage a draw let alone win.

We got to the final due to a lucky run and in spite of southgate, certainly wasn't because of him.
He is a poor manager, we know that fiest hand being boro fans.

We had a lucky run in spite of Southgate in the last world cup too. Here's hoping we go on another lucky run and win this thing in spite of Southgate eh?
