VPN recommendations please

Tsk just buy the DVD or CD would ya, don't you think Bono and George Clooney need some extra cash this Christmas?
 
For normal Internet browsing then I'd say there's no need for one at all - I've never used one and never had any issues.

If you just want to manage your privacy better there are other ways than using a VPN but a VPN will probably do that better if that's important to you.

If you want/need to disguise your location then you will need one I guess and any recommended by the folk in here will work, read up on a few & take your pick.

You should always use a VPN if you're using open wifi.
 
I have had a minor issue with Nord on Android. Hopefully fixed now by a minor setting change. The twice I've emailed their support I've had fast and helpful responses.
 
I use SurfShark - it allows me to access iPlayer, ITV Hub etc while abroad, is relatively cheap (just over $2 a month) and also says they don't keep logs. Speed is good - it supports the newer, faster WireGuard protocol (although others do too).
