Villa bid for Morgan Rogers

Aaron Ramsay moved to Burnley.

Jacob Ramsay won’t be loaned to the championship
Ramsey is a Burnley player now though
Three move to Burnley is more like a more complicated loan and it's likely he'll be back at Villa on the summer, if that's what Villa want.

I'm sure we've explored the possibility, especially given the suggestion is that Villa would be happy for Rogers to be judged back to us for the remainder of this season.

Not claiming it's feasible, only that I think we'll be exploring the possibility.

Seems very odd for a young player, still trying to prove himself, when Villa has the financial capability to be competitive in the market and buy someone of the required quality and standard. Rogers and Coburn are a similar age. I wonder if they want to make an offer for Josh?
mmmmm
Hampered by FFP or P+S or whatever its called aren't they? I believe they are close to the limit of what they can spend.

He moved permanently to Burnley in the summer, there’s no loan about it.

They have a buy back option at the same price as they sold him for.

I just can't see why they'd use it, they're worried about FFP to begin with and it would leave them closer to danger for a player that I doubt they plan on using regularly.

I didn't say that if you read my post carefully, there's a buy back clause, and whilst I'm not sure of the precise details, if they want him back then demonstrably they can do that.

Like I said, I'm not suggesting it will happen, simply that I believe we will be exploring the possibility.

Any and all of our players are "for sale" for the right money. It's where we are as a club right now. If a PL club comes in with the right amount we'd sell the tea lady.

I'd be disappointed and surprised if he goes though, you can see the potential but that is all it is at the moment, too many errors of concentration and positioning. Simple things but there is no way he would be getting the pitch time at Villa. Odd one, we'll see I suppose.
I could do with a tea lady
Is the one we have at the Boro any good
