Thanks MC for taking on the updates. The more the merrier with players, indeed.

Feel I may have hit a results peak early. Looking forward to the season, a shame Eurosport is disappearing in a couple of months.

Yes it seems watching will by subscription to Discovery+ which I think represents decent value for the cycling lovers.

Discovery+ standard at £6.99 is being removed from Feb 28th. Only way to get cycling now is to pay for TNT sports ~£30p/m.

Crazy how it has gone from GCN+ a few years ago to this...

TNT Sports to put cycling behind £30.99-a-month paywall, as Eurosport coverage to end and future of free-to-air Tour de France remains unclear

Viewers in UK and Ireland to see Eurosport content, including its extensive coverage of professional cycling, moved over to TNT Sports from end of February — and will have to pay significantly more to watch

I did not try... clicked just then to no response.

Hopefully just everyone hearing the news and going to check Tiz, increased traffic has taken the server down briefly!
 
AlUla Tour ended over the weekend with Pidcock taking 2 wins with his new team...

Wight Washed managed by Sean took the win this time round with Simon and Zoo making up the podium.

Next competition starts on Wednesday - ETOILE DE BESSEGES (yes I did just copy and paste)
 
Hi MC can you possibly update your opening post with a running “honours board” for the season. If that’s a pain for you happy to continue to it.

PS the Alula Tour winner seemed to appear from nowhere? Was he in our league comp at the start of the Tour? Not sure he was.

Morning Velogames fans - another race starting tomorrow at Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana.

Abel - I updated the main thread after my post yesterday. I will continue to do that for all competitions.

I assumed Sean was a new player and must have just joined during the race. Will monitor entrants more closely but positive to see the participation grow.

It is but as happened with Duck and GeoffV last season (he will confirm) we should only count players who start that particular race. No issue with Sean participating from now on.

I don’t have time to join in these days, but I’m sure players won’t mind me pointing a newbie to a website that might help with their enjoyment and knowledge of the teams and riders. You can follow live stats for most races and check out the ranking and form of all riders etc by clicking on their name. Lots of other info on there too, plus there are other sites that might help sort out the contenders if you can be bothered. Or you could just stick a pin in the startlist.

Agree - very fairly handled last season and agree with it as a general approach.

Would be great if Sean is a board member and gives us a wave on the thread.

Yes just read about it. Aloowing cars to come on to the course at a roundabout is pretty dangerous.

The race is pot luck now as to who wins it if indeed current yellow jersey holder De Lie decides to carry on.
