There’s no such thing as VAR that’s the issue it’s just another equally inept ref marking his mate. Who’s thinking better look after Dave as it’ll be next week.
VAR should be totally neutral a video analyser not another matey ref.

Not watching this game but I hate VAR.
Ah, his todger is 0.5mm offside, or is it... but what about a trip leading up to the goal... etc... 5 minutes later... goal! (Or not)
It is killing the game. If we accept that we need to address "clear and obvious errors" (I'm personally not sure that I do) then it has to be challenge based, two per game get one wrong and lose it. Challenge by captain on field within a few seconds of the incident to avoid techs in the stands advising coaches when to challenge.

If we're talking about the handball in the second half then VAR did look at it and dismissed it very quickly.
I thought it was bang on in terms of the new rules - which just makes the whole thing worse (never a penalty in old money).
