Vaccine Passports

Nah, he definitely didn’t. He specifically talked about the burden on society (of obesity, child molestation etc) to ask whether I’d be against some kind of passport for those groups.

If it is about stigma though I have no problem whatsoever with stigmatising anyone that is medically ok to have the vaccine and chooses not to.
We differ on that one Adi. I have made my brother in law test before coming for Christmas though. There are sensible alienatives.

I have no objection to either proof of vaccine or negative test provided that the test accuracy is good and the security is tight around swapping tests etc (same goes for sharing vaccine passports too).

Covid puts pressure on the NHS yes?
Vaccine passports apparently reduce the chances of catching covid thus reducing pressure on the NHS (other people's words not mine) yes?

All these covid measures are about protecting the NHS from collapse yes? Whilst also protecting the vulnerable yes?

Alcohol and smoking related illnesses put unnecessary pressure on the NHS yes? So why agree that vaccine passports are necessary but alcohol ones aren't? They could be used to limit the amount of alcoholic units consumed each week for example? The government won't ban smoking outright (makes too much money in taxes) but a smokers passport could limit the amount of nicotine someone is allowed to purchase each week.

As mean as it sounds I have told him I want to see his test result, so made him keep the tray.

Is this a serious question? The answer is super simple: none of those things you mention are highly contagious illnesses that kill other people, not to mention it would be impossible and pointless to try and police it.

I would love to know what business it is of yours over whether someone chooses to have a medical procedure or not.
How would you propose to stigmatise these people, a yellow star?? Or should we brand them??

No, we simply don’t allow people who haven’t been vaccinated into public venues. It’s my business as soon as someone idiotically refuses a vaccine to protect them and everyone else against a deadly virus.

Smokers pay 12 billion taxes a year. It's pretty much a stupid tax. They should bring in a stupid tax for anti vaxxers. Make the ******* pay for the hospital's they're clogging up and the diseases they're spreading.

I don't think its as much as 12 billion anymore Sheriff, but it is a lot. They also take less out of the economy in way of pension and healthcare. Oddly enough they die quicker and cheaper than non-smokers, even considerrng the cost of cancer drugs such as radionuclides.
