Located in Once Brewed very close to Gap (formerly known as Sycamore Gap). The Twice Brewed Inn (Northumberland).
I drank in a pub near Reading called The Black Boy. Think it's changed its name now."The Black Boy". Yes that is a pub name in 2024.
My in-laws own a holiday cottage in Hayle and we have been on holiday every summer for the last 3 years, but never noticed that pub. I will be looking out for it this summerThe Bucket of Blood. A pub in Hayle, Cornwall
Just the other side of the M4 roundabout from the Madstad in Reading."The Black Boy". Yes that is a pub name in 2024.
Near Shinfield. Think it was named after a race horseJust the other side of the M4 roundabout from the Madstad in Reading.
I have just looked on Google maps and we haven't been to the part of Hayle that pub is. It is quite close to Hayle beach though which is one of the nicest beaches I have ever been on when the weather is hot(which is a rare occurrence when we have been to Cornwall lol).
I always thought it was named after a horse. The poverina Normanby, means Poor thing!!
Not quite - it's just a bit further east, and isn't directly accessible from the M4. Used to be our regular pub lunch venue when I worked at Reading Uni but as @Craggyjohn correctly says, it was renamed a couple of years back following a refurb and is now the Shinfield Arms.Just the other side of the M4 roundabout from the Madstad in Reading.
