Under occupancy in the Family Zone

I don't know whether you can buy them at the ticket office but they're not available online in that area.

Another thing: the ticketing part of the website looks like it has been copy written by someone who has English as an additional language.

"Category A fixtures include weekend and Bank Holiday league fixtures at the Riverside, while Category B include midweek league fixtures."

I thinks its about £ 42 for an adult and child on walk up, while with Season ticket its only about £21 for adult and child if every game is attended.

Also, perhaps the ‘cheapness’ of these tickets allows people who work away for most of the year to put some money in to the club
Yeah, but they could do that by getting the new Boro Pride / Membership scheme ........... oh, hang on

My mate has only attended 1 in the east so far this season but he missed the first 2 due to holidays and passed on his tickets to family.

On Saturday we had 2 spares in The North which I couldn’t give away to family and friends (you can tell we’re struggling!) so he decided to come sit with us for the game instead.

I don’t think it’s anything untoward and although the school holidays are over, people are still going away (probably as it’s cheaper). I was in Center Parcs last week and it was really busy. School fines everywhere! 😆

Its a few quid cheaper I believe..though that's not the reason I sit there, primarily, its a better experience for the bairn.

This season per match I've paid £29 for me and £15 for my son. I generally pop down the ticket office Mon/Tues of match week and have got tickets in there without a hassle.

I sit in the GRFZ (we moved from the north at the start of last season as my kids wanted to start going) but they don't always go to every game, such as night games or when they have something on. Imagine a lot of others will be the same. We've upgraded their tickets to adults a few times if needed. Imagine a lot will be similar.

There are quite a lot of regular empty seats though, and can see when groups of lads are out on the lash they don't take their kids.

One thing I have noticed since sitting in there though is the amount of drug use, both inside and outside the stadium, especially at half time.

Me and my son sit in the family area, two seats next to us have never been sat in for a league game for 3 seasons, although they show as sold online, bit odd

Season ticket holders who fail to attend should be forced to return to the Riverside the next day and watch extended highlights of the game. That'll teach 'em.
