I know questions have been asked regarding George Martin being left out after a quality performance in the WC Semi-Final.

I am not anti-Itoje but I wouldn't be against him losing his spot. He seemed to be invincible at one point but I can't necessarily recall a stand out performance from him in a long time. I remember 2018/2019 against Ireland at the Aviva. He was an absolute menace. High volume of tackles, turnovers, nuggety in the mauls and stopped a couple of box kicks. We've not seen anything like that in a long time.

We were talking about that on Saturday. Dombrandt had another big game, certainly at the base of the scrum with a lot of good carries under Ulster pressure but he just can't cut it at international level. You sometimes get players like that but I just don't think he'll ever make it.

Agree with you on Earl. Such a solid player.

I think Martin is injured, but can’t be certain.

Agree about Itoje. He hasn’t been at his best for a while. He did mention during the World Cup some health issues he’s had though. Hopefully those are dealt with now.
 
Agree regarding Dombrandt and Earl. England need Earl’s speed and dynamic game. Dombrandt doesn’t seem to lift his game for England.
 
Be nice having a coach that takes it seriously for once and not an excuse to warm up for the World Cup. I always felt Eddie never really got what it meant in how his attitude was.

I think France will win the 6 Nations this year.

On another note, not sure what to make of the Louis Rees-Zammit situation for Wales and who is advising him on this.

I only heard about Rees zammit yesterday....i think the Premier rugby state is so uncertain now I don't blame him seeking a different future

Top.class rugby is under threat at the moment Isn't it

Hes In for a brilliant journey the lad and I think he will be a star in the NFL

He's kind of OK. He has potential that's for sure. But he's now way England ready yet.

Seems to be learning I lot from Esterhuizen which must help. One for the future I hope

Just finished watching the Netflix series from last years championship. It’s a pretty good insight into each country with some interesting behind the scenes moments.

It’s clear from some episodes that Wales see their big game as England. Same for Scotland. I was surprised there didn’t seem the same feeling from France and Ireland towards the England game.
 
Why are we having the championship decider on the opening day???

Looks good for the men in green. I'd be surprised if we see Willemse again
